It seems like we have it all through the rose colored glasses that is our Instagram feed. The house, the car, the family. Perfect as can be. But you never really see what is behind closed doors. You never truly see the daily struggles of what happens to entrepreneurs. We never talk about the hard stuff.
I am interviewed often about my success with Her Space. (I literally just finished one that will be a pitched as a pilot episode for a new Netflix series about 5 minutes ago.) In these interviews I always talk about how hard it was to LAUNCH Her Space. Then we skip over the dreadfully painful part straight to how I am wildly successful now.. blah blah blah.
This is where I am going to talk to you about the in between. The parts I have not shared before. Not only will it be healing for me to actually get it out of my head, but I know it will help others that are going through the same journey.
Being an entrepreneur can be extremely isolating. I hope that this blog will help you to not feel so alone, and know that it is okay. I have been there too. ...and am still there sometimes.
This will not be a place to vent or complain. It instead will be a place to help explore life's lessons and figure out what God is trying to teach me. I hope to also have others that are brave enough from the Her Space community to step up and be willing to share sometimes.
This is not about me. This is about all of you. My support system. My shoulders to cry on. My cheerleaders. My friends. And to all of those silently following along with my journey to see if I can actually do it or if I will fail. I want to help you by being open and sharing. I want you to see that when you have faith and passion, you can truly do anything you set your mind to.
I am just a regular 27 year old woman, with big dreams and a strong backbone. I happen to own a coworking space where I get to help entrepreneurial women connect with each other and gain access to the help they need to be successful in their businesses. I love my life. I can't wait to share more with you.
